Cole Cubelic provided a glimpse into the strength of Alabama’s offensive line ahead of the upcoming 2023 season.

On “McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning,” Cubelic said he’s had conversations in his offensive line group chat and with offensive line coaches about the potential of the Crimson Tide’s 5 guys up front.

Cubelic said Alabama will be on notice quick, as the team gets close to its season opener against Middle Tennessee on Sept. 2.

“There is going to be things about this Alabama offensive line, some details about this offensive line that I, honest to God, have never seen before,” Cubelic said.

Cubelic noted it could be the “measurable” of each of player that Alabama has starting on its offensive line.

“Not that it means a lot, but it could mean something,” Cubelic said. “It could be big for how this offense wants to manage itself.”

Cubelic, who believes Alabama leads the way on the Joe Moore Award watchlist, which goes to the best offensive line in the country, wanted his listeners to remember his opinion of the Crimson Tide’s offensive line this season.

“And then we’ll get more specific and detail-oriented when things actually come into shape as to just what it’s going to look like and exactly what it’s going to be,” Cubelic said.
