Deion Sanders and Nick Saban were together again this week to record their latest commercials for Aflac during a session in Los Angeles.

Saban and Sanders have worked together previously in Aflac commercials and they will continue to do so this year. The difference in this year’s commercial was that Saban and Sanders threw barbs at each other in May when Saban accused Sanders of paying players to come to Jackson State.

Sanders was not the only coach who caught shots from Saban, as Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher was also targeted in the NIL discussion that Saban had in May. When Saban’s quotes made the rounds, Sanders defended himself after Jackson State signed Travis Hunter, who was the No. 1 high school football recruit in 2022.

In December 2021, Sanders pulled Hunter away from Florida State and he landed other key recruits. After nearly two months since Saban made those comments, it appeared that Saban and Sanders moved on from the disagreement they had.

In the video clip shared to social media, Sanders introduced Saban as the “GOAT” and the two had a quick laugh as Saban mentioned the Aflac Duck. After Saban mentioned the duck, Sanders jokingly responded:

“I was talking about you, so you’re calling me ‘a duck?'” Sanders said.

Thanks in part to Aflac, Saban and Sanders appear to have put their beef to rest.
