DeVonta Smith is the 2020 Heisman Trophy winner, the 3rd Alabama player to win the award—joining running backs Mark Ingram (2009) and Derrick Henry (2015)—and the 1st wide receiver to win it since Desmond Howard did it in 1991.

And it was an impressive campaign that saw him beat out teammate Mac Jones, along with Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Florida quarterback Kyle Trask. With 20 touchdowns and over 1,640 yards, it was well earned.

Smith now has a bigger prize in his sights as he and Jones now prepare for the College Football Playoff National Championship Game against Ohio State on Monday. He caught the dramatic game-winner against Georgia in the 2018 championship as a freshman and will now look to cap a terrific career as a 2-time title winner.
