Dylan O’Quinn has heard plenty of talk about Cincinnati being a Group of 5 team playing perennial power Alabama, and how there’s talk circulating about a “David vs. Goliath” nature of the Cotton Bowl matchup. But the Bearcats offensive tackle dismissed that discussion as being a real thing.

“We’ve heard a lot about this ‘David vs. Goliath’ talk, but the fact of the matter is everybody puts their pants on the same way,” O’Quinn said, per Keith Jenkins. “Everybody plays the game of football. So we just want to go out and be us.”

O’Quinn has made 20 career starts, and is the leader of an offensive line that paved the way for UC’s offense to average the sixth-most yards per play (6.93) in the country, and lead the American Athletic Conference in yards per rush (5.4).
