After a delay, ESPN’s College GameDay is headed to Tuscaloosa this week for the primetime showdown between Georgia and Alabama, which appear to be the two heavyweights again in the SEC this season.

It’s the second time in three weeks that GameDay will be on hand to preview a Georgia game after it was in Athens ahead of the Auburn game. With the new AP Top 25 poll, it’s now No. 2 Alabama against No. 3 Georgia.

OnlyGators.com has reported that there was a debate between the LSU-Florida game, and the Georgia-Alabama game, but it’s not clear if the Saturday losses by LSU and Florida to Missouri and Texas A&M was the deciding factor.

Alabama has won five straight in the series, and the game will be at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. Georgia’s last win in the series came in 2007 in Tuscaloosa.
