When it comes to the Heisman Trophy race, it’s Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa and everyone else at this point.

However, the “everyone else” category has a formidable leader, according to ESPN’s updated Heisman Watch poll.

In the updated poll, which you can see here, Tagovailoa has all 10 first-place votes. Right on his heels is Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray, who as a unanimous No. 2 in the race. Behind him, things were wide open, though.

Currently, the leader in the No. 3 spot is Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins, with three No. 3 votes, two No. 4s and three No. 5s. Then it’s Clemson RB Travis Etienne and Houston DT Ed Oliver in the No. 4 and No. 5 spots, currently.

Tagovailoa is resting a minor knee injury during this week’s bye, and then he could perhaps have his Heisman moment in Week 10 against LSU. That will be a tough game, though, and it will be the toughest secondary the sophomore quarterback has ever faced.
