The Iron Bowl rivalry made its way to the NFL on Sunday as Derrick Brown of Auburn and the Carolina Panthers was ejected along with Cam Robinson of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who played at Alabama.
Brown ripped Robinson’s helmet off and tossed it, and then Brown returned the favor. Robinson blew a kiss as he left the field, and the home crowd in Jacksonville roared in approval.
The incident came at the end of a run by Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby, as Brown threw Robinson’s helmet toward the end zone after it came off of his head.
Jaguars running back Travis Etienne scored for the second time later on that drive to give the Jaguars a 26-0 lead with just over 4 minutes left to play.
