Former Alabama running back Jerome Ford showed why he’s the leading rusher for the No. 5 team in the country on Friday night.

On the first play from scrimmage of the third quarter, Ford extended Cincinnati’s lead over Temple with a 75-yard touchdown run:

A 4-star all-purpose back in the class of 2018, Ford signed with Alabama over 21 other scholarship offers coming out of Armwood High School in Florida. The Tampa native left Alabama after the 2019 season, his redshirt freshman season, when he rushed for for 151 yards and 3 touchdowns in eight appearances for the Crimson Tide.

Ford’s Bearcats are having no trouble with Temple. Cincinnati leads 45-3 after three quarters. Ford currently has 15 carries for 149 yards and 2 TDs in the game, airing on ESPN.
