The Alabama Crimson Tide once again underwent some major staff turnover this offseason. Notably, OC Mike Locksley took the Maryland head coaching job.

Now, the Tide have installed Steve Sarkisian as their offensive coordinator. Sark, famously, served as the Tide’s OC after Lane Kiffin left for FAU before Alabama’s first title game loss to Clemson.

On Wednesday, former NFL QB turned analyst Dan Orlovsky joined “3 Man Front” on WJOX and said he thinks the hiring of Sark was a sneakily good one for the Tide:

Sarkisian has NFL experience after spending time with the Atlanta Falcons the past two seasons, so we’ll see if he’s able to implement some NFL lessons in Tuscaloosa.

He has plenty of talent to work with on the Alabama roster, so it’ll be exciting to see how he fares in 2019.
