Call it Alabama on Alabama crime, but former Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is making a smooth transition to the NFL if this move is any indication.

During a one-on-one matchup with former Alabama safety Eddie Jackson, now playing for the Chicago Bears, Waddle faked left, made a stutter step and then broke right to make a catch over the middle and turn up field.

By all indications, like this move, Waddle has had a great training camp so far.

Waddle was reunited with former Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa when the Dolphins in the spring NFL Draft selected Waddle No. 6 overall pick ahead of another Alabama receiver, Heisman Trophy winner DeVonta Smith. It’s the highest Miami has ever taken a wideout.
