Jaylen Waddle breaks silence after season-ending injury against Tennessee
Jaylen Waddle’s ankle injury sent shockwaves throughout the college football and sports world. The dynamic wide receiver was on pace for a historic season, but it was cut short early in Alabama’s game against Tennessee on Saturday.
On Sunday, Waddle took to Instagram to post photos of him in the back of an ambulance, using the hashtag #RydeOuts, the nickname for the Crimson Tide’s wide receiving corps.
While Waddle’s season is over, it gives plenty of players in the photo a chance to step in and fill the void. And regardless which team you root for, having a young man have his season cut short by such an awful injury is disappointing.
Best wishes to Waddle and his continued recovery, and here’s hoping that this is only a temporary setback to what should be an impressive football career.
Hopefully a quick recovery so he can show out in the league. Tough loss for Bama!
Lol! Another Bama receiver for Atlanta. Could you imagine Julio and Ridley our wide with Waddle in the a lot? That would just be unfair.
Unfair? 1-6 that is all!
Is that Nick in the far end of the ambulance handing out the cohibas?
Str8t Gangstas with no mask on!!
These players are tested frequently. Masks protect one from those we’re around when we don’t know their COVID status so what benefit would the mask provide these players? This hyper-sensitivity about masking is approaching the ridiculous. Take a slow, deep puff on whatever you smoke and calm down.
Exactly. Taking a slow deep puff as we speak but I’m currently out of cohibas. Wishing the young a “speedy” recovery. See what i did there? RTR and fAU.
Just a joke. I don’t give a $hit about the China flu. Clemson/Bama will be a shootout!
Agree. Who gives rats a$$ at this point. Live free and die or live scared and die.
