Joey Galloway recapped Alabama’s loss to Texas A&M on Saturday night on ESPN, and made an interesting comparison between the Aggies game, and the Crimson Tide’s win over Florida.

“Give that offensive line credit. They didn’t have a lot of rushing yards,” Galloway said of Texas A&M. “But what they did is they protected the quarterback and ran the ball when they needed to. This is the second time this season we’ve seen an Alabama defense give up a lot of points and a lot of yards when somebody handles their front line and that’s exactly what Texas A&M did.”

To Galloway’s point, the Aggies only had 94 rushing yards, but didn’t allow a sack, whereas Texas A&M made 4 sacks on defense. In the Florida game, Alabama gave up 245 rushing yards.

For Texas A&M, that was one of the bigger improvements the Aggies made in Galloway’s mind since the earlier losses by the Aggies. They proved to be the tougher team on both lines of scrimmage.
