Lane Kiffin was officially introduced as the new head coach at Florida Atlantic Tuesday morning.

“We will work every day to create a championship environment by the way that we work,” said Kiffin during his press conference. “It was very obvious that Florida Atlantic is committed to winning and committed to doing it together. …We will make great things happen. For us to do the impossible, we have to see the invisible.”

During his presser, one of the questions asked was about his potential coaching staff. Kiffin hinted at the possibility of bringing a few members of the Alabama coaching staff with him down to Boca Raton, stating “it’s definitely possible” that other members of the Tide staff could join him in “enhanced roles.”

Kiffin admitted that after being fired by USC in 2013 his “phone was not ringing” until hearing from Nick Saban, and for that, he was grateful. But he’s ready for the venture.

“I’m in a different place than I was 10 years ago,” he said.
