Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin used to be an assistant on Nick Saban’s staff at Alabama. That relationship had its ups and downs, but the “ups” included a national title, so it was a successful partnership.
Since leaving Tuscaloosa, Kiffin hasn’t been shy about poking Saban on social media. To be fair, Kiffin takes playful jabs at everyone on Twitter, but Saban has been a frequent target.
On Saturday’s edition of College GameDay, Kiffin sat down with Tom Rinaldi and discussed his relationship with Saban in this funny segment:
"When you don't understand why your parents do things sometimes, then when you get older … you find yourself doing some of the same things. That's really what it's like."

Kiffin and Saban might not talk much anymore, but it’s because they’re both busy running their own SEC programs.
Will Kiffin become the first former Saban assistant to beat him? Tune in to ESPN at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time to find out.
