A tough day for Mac Jones got even worse Sunday.

The New England quarterback threw 3 interceptions in a 37-26 loss to Baltimore.

More concerning, however, is an injury he sustained late in the 4th quarter.

The former Alabama standout was sacked with less than 2 minutes to play and forced to leave the game with a lower left leg injury.

And social media reports. as well as what the injury looked like on film, aren’t promising.

Jones couldn’t put any weight on his left leg as he exited the field.

Additionally, according to reporter Greg Bedard, Jones was “screaming in pain” as he was helped to the locker room.

It has been a tough start to 2022 for Jones from a health standpoint. He injured his back against Miami in New England’s season opener.
