Making the Alabama-LSU rivalry even more heated is the presence of nine Louisiana natives — two from Baton Rouge — on the Crimson Tide’s roster.

Junior linebacker Mack Wilson isn’t one of them, but reporters asked him which of his Louisiana teammates is the most excited to face a Tigers roster loaded with players they knew coming through high school. As you can see in the YouTube video posted by Charlie Potter, Wilson didn’t need long to identify fellow linebacker Dylan Moses as the best answer to the question.

“Dylan, he’s ready to smash somebody,” Wilson said. “That’s where he’s from, so he’s fired up.”

Moses is from Baton Rouge and played at University Laboratory School, which is located on LSU’s campus, before finishing his high school career at IMG Academy in Florida. As a ninth-grader, Moses committed to LSU before eventually spurning his hometown school for its biggest rival.

Naturally, a rivalry also exists between him and the fellow Louisianians in his recruiting class who decided to stay home. They’ll surely be trying to smash each other when No. 1 Alabama (8-0, 5-0 SEC) visits No. 4 LSU (7-1, 4-1) at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday.
