Nick Saban was not happy with Alabama’s performance even though the Crimson Tide pulled out a 20-19 at Texas on Saturday.

After the game, Saban told reporters that he still praised the resiliency of the team after โ€œnot playing Alabama football for the first 3 quarters.โ€

As for Texas, Saban said it’s a preview of things to come for the Longhorns.

โ€œThis is like playing an SEC game on the road,” Saban said. “Theyโ€™re going to be in the SEC. If they were in the SEC now, theyโ€™d probably be in the top half of the league.โ€

About Bryce Young’s heroics down the stretch, Saban said, “I knew heโ€™d do a good job in 2-minute. He always does.โ€

The Alabama coach added that Young plays quarterback like a point guard in basketball.
