When it comes to Alabama football, QB Tua Tagovailoa is the main source of news during the Crimson Tide’s bye week.

On Wednesday morning, UA coach Nick Saban appeared on the SEC media teleconference and described Tagovailoa as a game-time decision for the Week 11 game against LSU. Later in the day, Saban met with local media for a post-practice press conference. He shared another Tagovailoa update.

“He did some snaps today. Did some things on air, but it’s a day by day thing,” Saban told reporters. He also added that Tagovailoa has had a great attitude while going through rehab after the tightrope procedure.

While throwing on air is a good sign, football fans everywhere will be awaiting further updates on Tagovailoa’s progression to being ready to face a real live defense. When Alabama was on a bye week earlier this season, Saban called into the “Hey Coach!” weekly Thursday radio show, so it’s possible we’ll get another update before next week.
