Nick Saban is in COVID quarantine, but that hasn’t stopped him from speaking to the media or keeping up with Alabama practice.

Saban held his regularly-scheduled press conference on Wednesday evening. How he’ll be watching Saturday’s Iron Bowl was one of the topics that came up.

Saban won’t be watching the CBS broadcast. Instead, he’ll have access to a feed that is the same video footage as the Crimson Tide staff uses for game film.

“I’ll have the same feed that we take of the game, which is the film we watch on Sunday … so I’ll be able to see what’s happening,” Saban answered.

At least we know Saban won’t be among the social media users complaining about Gary Danielson. The national “SEC on CBS” showcase broadcast is set for 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT.
