Offensive explosion: Alabama sets another SEC record in rout of Ole Miss
Alabama dominated Ole Miss in a 62-7 victory on Saturday, but that’s nothing new for the Crimson Tide.
The defending national champions have been the most consistent program in college football during head coach Nick Saban’s tenure and the Rebels have recently been one of their least fortunate victims.
Alabama has outscored Ole Miss, 128-10, during each of their last two meetings and became the first team in SEC history to beat the same conference opponent by more than 55 points in back-to-back matchups, according to ESPN’s Stats and Info department.

The Tide defeated the Rebels, 66-3, in 2017, which followed a 48-43 victory in 2016. Ole Miss had previously won consecutive games against Alabama in 2014 and 2015.
