According to Bob McGinn of bobmcginnfootball.com, the Packers have elevated former Alabama DB Tony Brown from the practice squad to their official roster.

The Packers have suffered several injuries in the secondary so far this season, and the former track star could see some playing time for Green Bay as the year goes on.

In four seasons at Alabama, Brown racked up 86 total tackles and three interceptions. After going undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, Brown signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as a free agent in April. He was then waived at the 53-man roster deadline on Sept. 1.

Two days later, Brown was signed to the Packers practice squad, and now he will have a chance to make a name for himself in the NFL.
