Former Alabama standout Quinnen Williams reportedly underwent surgery this week.

NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero reports it was a successful surgery Thursday to repair a broken bone in Williams’ foot. The average recovery time after the surgery is 10-12 weeks. Pelissero reports, though, that Williams is expected to be ready for Jets training camp.

The No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 draft, Williams will be entering his third professional season. Williams is coming off of a seven-sack second season in which he appeared in 13 games, all starts. For his career, Williams has 83 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 4 passes defended, 2 forced fumbles a fumble recovery.
