Reporter shares information on Tua Tagovailoa’s coming decision announcement

On Monday, all eyes will be on Tua Tagovailoa. The Alabama quarterback is set to announce whether he’ll return to the Crimson Tide or declare early for this year’s NFL Draft.
On Friday, one reporter shared an interesting detail regarding the announcement. Kyle Burger of NBC affiliate WVTM-TV tweeted, “Alabama media relations is not expecting Tua Tagovailoa to have a formal presser for his announcement Monday. All eyes will be on Tua’s social media pages.”
Social media announcements sans press conferences have become common for football players announcing they are either staying or leaving. Tagovailoa, however, isn’t your average college football player when it comes to fan and media attention. Some fans are sure to speculate what it means that Tagovailoa isn’t planning to take questions from the media immediately after revealing his decision.
Looks like we’re all in on for a lot of refreshing on Monday.
