Here are the highlights from Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban’s weekly radio show on Thursday as No. 13 Alabama gets set to face No. 8 Georgia on Saturday.

Saban wants to see how mentally prepared his team is as the Tide heads between the hedges for its true road game of the season.

Saban talked about Alabama’s 41-30 win over Georgia in 2008, which was only the Tide’s second season under Saban. Alabama reached the SEC title game that season but lost to eventual national champion Florida.

Saban talked about the tough task the Tide will have this week in stopping RB Nick Chubb. He talked about the importance of the defensive line stepping up to the challenge to not put the secondary in predicaments.

He also talked about QB Greyson Lambert but was quick to credit the talent around him on offense.

Saban talked about how he recruited Lambert out of Wayne County High School in Jesup, GA. Lambert played at Virginia before transferring to Georgia.

Saban was asked about the offensive line’s struggles against Louisiana Monroe last week, particularly containing pressure off the edge.
