The Alabama Crimson Tide went into Baton Rouge on Saturday night and blew out LSU 29-0. That has, unfortunately for LSU fans, become a common occurrence for LSU OC Steve Ensminger.

Ensminger has been an offensive coordinator against Alabama three times in his career, and incredibly, he’s still looking for his first point against Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

In 2008, he was the interim offensive coordinator at Auburn. In 2016, he was the interim OC at LSU, and this year, obviously, he’s the full-time LSU OC. Here have been the results of his games against the Tide:

  • 2008: Alabama 36, Auburn 0
  • 2016: Alabama 10, LSU 0
  • 2018: Alabama 29, LSU 0

For those of you keeping track at home, that’s a scoreline of Alabama 75, Ensminger 0 in those three games.

If he’s still around next year at LSU, we’ll see if he can finally score a point against a Nick Saban defense.
