Alabama’s success when it comes to building up its 2021 recruiting class has been heating up in recent weeks but one position that needed some work in the class was the offensive line as the Crimson Tide held just one pledge from that position group.

Well, Nick Saban’s program took care of that issue in one commitment announcement as Texas twins Tommy and James Brockermeyer both announced their commitments to Alabama on Friday.

Five-star Tommy Brockermeyer is a 6-foot-6, 283-pound offensive tackle, rated as the nation’s No. 1 offensive tackle prospect and the No. 5 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Four-star James Brockermeyer is a 6-foot-3, 273-pound center prospect, rated as the nation’s No. 1 center and the No. 188 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

The brothers play for All Saints Episcopal High School in Forth Worth, Texas, and both are committed to playing in the 2021 Under Armour All-American Game when before their college careers at Alabama begin.

Following these pledges from the Brockermeyer twins, the Crimson Tide now have 14 total commitments in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Alabama now has the nation’s No. 6 recruiting class and the No. 3 recruiting class in the SEC.
