Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa have already drawn attention this offseason for the new wide receiver’s move from Kansas City to Miami, and later Tagovailoa’s apparent under throw during a practice.

Now the speedy pass catcher has come to the former Alabama quarterback’s defense, and promoted Tagovailoa on several levels.

“Tua actually has one of the prettiest balls I’ve ever caught him in my life… Tua is a very accurate QB,” Hill said, via Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network. “I’m very confident in my QB… the sky is the limit for that guy. Heck of a talent. Has crazy arm strength, arm talent.”

The blockbuster move will likely paint futures of both Hill and Tagovailoa. Miami traded 5 draft picks, including first and second-round picks in the 2022 draft, to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for Hill back in March, before immediately signing him to the most lucrative contract in NFL history for a wide receiver — a 4-year, $120 million extension with $72 million guaranteed.

They’ve only been teammates for a few months, but Hill has already defended Tagovailoa on multiple occasions, including earlier in May when a practice video depicted a seemingly underthrown ball by Tagovailoa went viral, and counted more than 6 million views on Twitter.

By all indications, Tagovailoa has received positive feedback from not only Hill, but also Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel.
