Alabama’s wide receiver position appears to have lost some depth this offseason.

Xavier Williams, who appeared in 6 games last season, and played in the A-Day game this past spring, is not listed on the team’s online roster, or the media guide, The Tuscaloosa News reported. Though Alabama is at least 5 deep at wide receiver, Williams’ absence gives up some experience.

He played in the last 4 games last year, even though he only caught 3 passes for 24 yards, one of them came against Ohio State in the national championship.

Williams is a native of Hollywood, Florida, and was a 4-star wide receiver coming out of high school. He redshirted in 2018 and played in 4 games in 2019.
