Though many fans think Alabama should be No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings, the Crimson Tide are currently No. 2 behind Georgia.

However, that’s still more love than undefeated Wisconsin has been getting from the CFP committee, as the Badgers are currently in the No. 8 spot.

Still, neither team has a particularly accomplished resume, especially after Alabama’s Week 1 opponent, Florida State, has completely fallen apart. As you can see in the clip from “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” below, FOX Sports analyst Jason McIntyre doesn’t think Alabama’s resume deserves the respect it’s getting from the committee thus far:

“If you stripped away the name ‘Alabama’ right now, take it out of the picture, is that a resume that they’ve built this year that’s top-four worthy? Hell no, Colin!” he said. “Their resume is barely better than Wisconsin’s.”

Obviously, Alabama has a chance to improve its resume down the stretch. This weekend, the Tide will hit the road to take on No. 16 Mississippi State.

Then, at the end of November, a road test at No. 10 Auburn looms large, followed by a potential trip to the SEC Championship Game.

That stretch of games won’t be easy, but the Crimson Tide will need to win them all to stay in the CFP mix.
