Wisconsin to lose key defensive player for first half vs. Alabama after controversial targeting call
Wisconsin has a huge home football game coming up next week as Jalen Milroe and the Alabama Crimson Tide will be in Madison.
On Saturday, star linebacker Jake Chaney was ejected from the Badgers game against South Dakota on a questionable targeting call.
This hit led to Wisconsin standout linebacker Jake Chaney being ejected today and now being suspended for the first half of the Badgers’ game against Alabama next week.

Not only was he thrown out of Saturday’s game, but he will also now be forced to miss the first half of the game next week against the Crimson Tide.
This is big as Chaney is one of the very best defenders that Wisconsin has. Last year, he finished 2nd on the team with 80 tackles. He is also one of the most important players on the team when it comes to making sure everyone lines up where they need.
With the high-powered Alabama offense coming into town next week, that makes the task of slowing down the Crimson Tide even more difficult.
Kickoff next week is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET on FOX and should be one of the top games of the weekend.
