Judson High School wide receiver Anthony Evans committed to Arkansas back in November but is now reopening his recruitment. Evans shared on Friday that he has backed off his pledge to the Razorbacks.

In the note posted to Twitter, Evans said Arkansas is still one of the programs he is “heavily considering.”

Evans, out of Converse, Texas, is listed at over 5-10 and 155 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, he’s rated 3-stars, the No. 86 wide receiver, No. 105 Texas product and No. 627 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023.

According to Evans’ 247Sports recruiting profile, the wide receiver picked up scholarship offers from UConn, Colorado, Missouri, Utah, UNLV, Washington State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Arizona since his Nov. 25, 2021 pledge to the Hogs. The offers from UGA and UT came this month.
