Broken Arrow (Oklahoma) safety Myles Slusher committed to Oregon on April 29, 2019, but he has now decided to stay closer to home.

The 4-star safety shared the big news in a Notes screenshot via his Twitter account on Wednesday, the first day of the Early Signing Period.

Even with Slusher on board, Arkansas’ 2020 is still looking rough (to be expected after a coaching change) at 10 total commitments, ranking No. 13 in the SEC and No. 86 nationally on the 247Sports Composite. Slusher, though, is a big get as the Composite’s No. 2 player from Oklahoma, No. 10 safety and No. 150 prospect overall. He is the highest-rated of UA’s 10 pledges with a Composite score of 0.9339.
