Arkansas hit a hot stretch in recruiting Friday, adding a pair of key in-state prospects heading into the weekend.

The first came from 4-star defensive lineman Charleston Collins. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, Charleston held offers from many key programs, including LSU, Alabama, Georgia and Auburn, among others.

The next commitment comes from Courtney Crutchfield, a 6-foot-2 and 175-pound wide receiver. Crutchfield is also a 4-star prospect with other offers from Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Missouri and a number of other Power 5 programs.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, both players are top-5 players out of Arkansas for the 2024 recruiting class. Collins rates as the No. 26 DL in the country and the 2nd player out of Arkansas for the cycle from WIlber D. Mills High School.

As for Crutchfield, he is rated as the 56th WR recruit nationally for the cycle out of Pine Bluff High School. Crutchfield is also the 5th overall player out of Arkansas.

The addition of the in-state pair brings Arkansas up to 8 commitments for the class of 2024, a group that ranks 15th nationally by the 247 Sports Composite.
