Arkansas has made it official. Morgan Turner is the Razorbacks’ new tight ends coach.

Turner replaces Dowell Loggains, who departed to take the offensive coordinator position at South Carolina.

Turner is an Illinois alum. The son of former NFL and college head Ron Turner, Morgan Turner was a student assistant for the Illini and then the quarterbacks coach at Indiana State in 2009.

From 2010-2022, Turner was on staff at Stanford. He got his start as a sports performance intern in 2010 before moving into an offensive assistant role in 2011 and ’12.

The past 10 seasons, Turner coached Stanford tight ends. Stanford has become known as a tight end factory in the NFL with Dalton Schultz (Dallas), Austin Hooper (Tennessee), Coby Fleener, Levine Toilolo, Zach Ertz (Arizona), Kaden Smith and Colby Parkinson (Seattle).

Stanford TE Benjamin Yurosek caught 49 passes for 445 yards in 2022, earning second-team All-Pac-12 recognition.
