The Arkansas Razorbacks have a huge question mark ahead of Saturday night’s game at Alabama.

That’s because senior QB Austin Allen injured his shoulder last weekend against South Carolina and may not be ready for this week’s action.

On Wednesday, coach Bret Bielema said he’s still not sure whether Allen will be ready to go against the No. 1 Crimson Tide (via 247Sports):

“Obviously as a quarterback, the biggest thing you have to do is function and throw the football,” Bielema said after practice Wednesday. “If he’s as good as he was going into last week, he for sure would, but he’s not quite there yet.

“I think a lot depends on how well he recovers from tonight and we’ll look at that tomorrow.”

If Allen can’t go, redshirt freshman Cole Kelley will start in his place.

Playing in Tuscaloosa would be a tough test for the young quarterback, so to have a chance to pull off the massive upset, Allen will likely have to start.
