Arkansas is paying tribute to the late Ryan Mallett at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium this week.

Late Wednesday night, Arkansas revealed a scoreboard graphic dedicated to Mallett, who passed away in a drowning accident on Tuesday.

Here’s a look:

Mallett played quarterback for Arkansas from 2008-2010 and is regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in recent program history.

Across the 2009 and 2010 seasons, Mallett threw for 7,493 yards and 62 touchdowns. He also averaged an impressive 9.4 yards per attempt.

Mallett led Arkansas to a 10-win season in 2010. The Razorbacks have eclipsed that benchmark just once in the 12 seasons since. They’ve hit double-digit victories just 3 times in the last 3 decades.

Mallett was the head coach at White Hall High School in Arkansas. He began his coaching career in 2020 as an assistant coach at Mountain Home High School in Arkansas.

Mallett was 35 years old.
