The Pro Football Hall of Fame made it a weekend of emotional announcements for its latest induction class. One of them was former Arkansas player and defensive coordinator Jimmy Johnson, who received the news while on the set of FOX Sports during NFL playoffs coverage on Sunday.

With his FOX colleagues clapping and celebrating, Johnson was told that his legacy would be in Canton, Ohio forever. “Congratulations, coach,” said David Baker, President of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

“The only thing I can think of is all the assistant coaches that have worked for me,” Johnson said while fighting back tears. “All the great players that have played for me. They’re the reason I’m here. They’re the reason. I can’t talk. This is so special to me because when you put in the work that we put in, it’s nice to know that people appreciate it.”

In a similar announcement on Saturday, Bill Cowher of CBS Sports was also given the news that he would be in this class. The full class is set to be released on the NFL Network on Wednesday.
