Arkansas plans to honor the military on Saturday, one day after Veterans Day, against LSU when the Razorbacks wear special helmets with the Razorback decal having an American flag inside the outline.

The Razorbacks did something similar last year against Mississippi State in honor of Military Appreciation Day.

The Razorbacks have slipped to 5-4 on the season, while LSU is 7-2 and coming off a huge win over Alabama that came on a successful 2-point conversion in overtime.

The Razorbacks, coming off a difficult loss to Liberty, turn their attention to The Battle for the Golden Boot comes and looking to hit the six-win mark for the second year in a row and become bowl eligible for the third straight season.

With a win against LSU, Sam Pittman would become the fourth Arkansas head coach to earn bowl eligibility in each
of their first 3 seasons, joining Lou Holtz (1977-79), Ken Hatfield (1984-86) and Houston Nutt (1998-00).
