Bret Bielema announces Frank Ragnow is out for the season
Not only did the Arkansas Razorbacks get blown out by Auburn on Saturday night, they also lost two important players to season-ending injuries.
First, and most importantly, senior C Frank Ragnow — one of the team’s unquestioned leaders — is out after suffering an ankle injury.
Coach Bret Bielema announced that Ragnow would have season-ending surgery and miss the Hogs’ remaining games:

That’s obviously a huge loss for the Hogs, as Ragnow is one of the best offensive linemen in the country, not allowing a sack in any of his 40 games (though his teammates gave up plenty):
Do you realize how hard it is to play in 40 games at any level (let alone the SEC) and never give up a single sack? Ragnow is an all-time great.

The bad news didn’t end there for the Hogs, as Bielema also revealed that talented freshman RB Chase Hayden would miss the rest of the year, too:

With a 2-5 overall record and an 0-4 mark in SEC play at the moment, that’s about the worst news the Razorbacks could have gotten.
Couple that with the fact that star QB Austin Allen is still nursing a shoulder injury and could miss Saturday’s game against Ole Miss and things aren’t looking good for the Razorbacks.
