The latest Arkansas recruiting class isn’t a deep one at this time but that was to be expected following the midseason firing of Chad Morris.

What is a surprise, however, is the quality of talent Sam Pittman and company have been adding on The Hill in recent days as Arkansas just landed another four-star prospect to the program’s 2020 recruiting class.

This time, it’s Memphis Central product Darin Turner that has said yes to the Razorbacks. Turner announced his decision during a live ceremony at his high school on Thursday.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Turner is the second top 200 prospect to join the Razorbacks in as many days as 247Sports Composite Rankings list Turner as a four-star receiver and the No. 195 overall commit in the nation.

Turner joins a class that added four-star Oklahoma safety Myles Slusher, Missouri flips Ray Curry Jr. and Dominique Johnson plus new additions Kelin Burrle and junior college recruit Julius Coates.

Obviously there is still much work to be done in Fayetteville but when you look around the league and see the recruiting struggles of Ole Miss and Missouri under their new coaches, what Pittman and his staff have been able to accomplish in a short period of time is impressive.
