Kansas AD Jeff Long fired football coach David Beaty last November and eventually replaced him with Les Miles. At the time, it appeared Kansas was prepared to pay Beaty his $3 million dollar buyout after terminating his contract without cause.

However, according to the former Kansas coach, not a single buyout payment has been made and a lawsuit has since been filed by Beaty and his attornies out of Dallas. In addition to that information, Beaty’s lawsuit claims Kansas kept him on in order to search for a reason to fire him, in essence, Kansas is accused of trying to find cause to fire Beaty.

The most explosive mention in the lawsuit comes via an odd piece of information citing Kansas’s desire to find a “dead hooker” in Beaty’s closet. Yes, you read that correctly.
