The Arkansas Razorbacks landed a talented graduate transfer quarterback this offseason in the form of Feleipe Franks.

The former Florida standout will presumably be the starter this fall for the Razorbacks under new head coach Sam Pittman and new OC Kendal Briles.

This week, Franks spoke about his transition from the Gators to the Razorbacks during an appearance on XL Pipeline on 92.5 JAX, saying he appreciates his opportunity to finish his career at Arkansas (via 247Sports):

“It was definitely a difficult transition for sure,” Franks said. “I grew up in Florida and coming to the University of Florida was always something I had came to dream of and it definitely exceeded those. … It was definitely a blessing and I will cherish those memories. …

“Coach Pittman and Coach Briles have given me an opportunity to go there and play another year to try and go to the next level.”

How will Franks fare in his 1 year in Fayetteville? He’ll have a lot of work to do to help turn around a program that has gone a combined 4-20 the past 2 seasons.
