Now that news has broken that Gus Malzahn will remain with the Auburn Tigers, the Arkansas Razorbacks are on to Plan B with their coaching search.
Will that backup plan be Memphis coach Mike Norvell? Or perhaps SMU’s Chad Morris? That remains to be seen, but the Hogs are likely to move quickly.
Former Arkansas QB Clint Stoerner knows who he wants the Hogs to hire, throwing his support behind Morris, as you can see in the tweet below:
Chad Morris would be a big time hire at Arkansas..all the boxes are checked..get the UofA jets fueled up & headed to Dallas ASAP!!

The Razorbacks need to make a splashy hire if they want to compete with the SEC West powers, especially now that Texas A&M has hired Jimbo Fisher.
When the Hogs finally make a new hire remains to be seen, but now that Malzahn has turned them down, they’ll be on the clock as the coaching carousel continues to spin.
