Former MLB outfielder Monte Harrison has reportedly decided to give football another try, and he’s heading to the SEC.

On Tuesday, Harrison committed to play football for Arkansas, per Richard Davenport of Whole Hog Sports. Harrison will be a walk-on for Sam Pittman’s squad.

In his football recruitment, Harrison received scholarship offers from Mizzou, Nebraska, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas and Michigan State. He signed with Nebraska in February 2014, but did not play Husker football. The Milwaukee Brewers selected him in the second round of the 2014 MLB Draft, and Harrison signed with the club on June 14.

Ten years later, Harrison is set to turn 29 on Aug. 10 before playing his first college football game.
