Report: Nebraska in 'serious talks' with Bret Bielema
Nebraska is targeting Bret Bielema and engaged in serious talks with the second-year Arkansas head coach, reports FootballScoop.com.
FootballScoop’s Scott Roussel reports Nebraska athletic director Shawn Eichorst has a short list, and perhaps, Bielema may be the only name on it.
It is unknown whether or not Bielema would consider leaving Fayetteville, however, Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman confirms Nebraska officials are interested in the former Big Ten coach.
Wondered if Bielema would leave ARK after going thru roughest parts of a rebuild or how cozy a fit he’d be in NEB but been told NU likes him

Bielema met with the media to recap the regular season on Wednesday afternoon, and expressed his excitement for 2015 with the Razorbacks.
More from Bielema: “I can’t tell you how excited I am for next year and obviously my commitment to Arkansas in the long term.”

Bielema’s buyout in the first three years of his deal is $12.8 million if he were to be fired. However, if Bielema were to leave for another job, the buyout is much lower.
