Sam Pittman provided an update Wednesday on the status of quarterback Taylen Green ahead of the Week 8 game against LSU. The Arkansas quarterback’s status remains up in the air after a bye week in which he has had over a week to recover from a knee injury.
“(Taylen is) still not full speed yet, but we certainly think there’s a possibility that he can get there. We’ll have to wait and see there. We have two more practices and a walk, but have been encouraged about his progression.”
The good news for Arkansas is that Green has been practicing and appears to be making progress.
โTaylen practiced,โ Pittman said on the SEC coach’s teleconference. โFirst was a walkthrough, which he would be practicing whether he was healthy or not, you know, in that. Heโs practiced each day.โ
