The Arkansas Razorbacks have quickly become one of the best stories in college football.

They’re 2-2 and a controversial call away from being 3-1 at this point in the season. First-year coach Sam Pittman has his guys energized and playing some great football.

But, on the SEC Network on Monday, Pittman was quick to give credit to Florida transfer QB Feleipe Franks for how important he’s been to the turnaround (via 247Sports):

“If I’ve told him once, I promise you I’ve told him five times. What Feleipe Franks has allowed us to do here is he’s allowed us to start a program,” Pittman said. “He came in and he showed he had confidence we could turn this program around and then help us do it. It’ll help us in recruiting and I’ve thanked him for that several, several times. I thanked him after the game the other day, because he’s allowing Razorback football to get on the map and helping us do that. I’m very appreciative to him and for him for that.”

Franks’ leadership and big arm have indeed helped the Hogs turn things around quickly.

The way this year is going as of right now, Arkansas fans won’t soon forget what Franks did for the program.
