The SEC is out with its All-Conference teams, and the pick to win the regular season baseball championship.

The league’s coaches picked Arkansas to win the league, while Florida is chosen to take the SEC East.

Lately, the SEC has dominated the College World Series, including the past 4 CWS titles — LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.

Three schools received first-place votes, including Arkansas with 9 votes, while LSU received 3 and Florida received 2. The Razorbacks were predicted to win the SEC West, followed by LSU and Texas A&M. Tennessee and Vanderbilt follow Florida in the East.

In terms of player selections, 12 programs were represented on the All-SEC teams, and Florida led the way with 4 selections, followed by Tennessee with 3. The Gators had 4 first-team honors, and Arkansas and South Carolina each had 2. Florida’s Jac Caglianone was a first-team selection as a first baseman and a second-team choice as a starting pitcher.

The season begins Feb. 16 with conference play set to begin March 15. Nine SEC teams have been ranked in the top-25 of the national preseason polls.

The SEC Baseball Tournament will take place May 21-26 at the Hoover Met in Hoover, Alabama.
