TJ Metcalf, cousin of DK Metcalf, announces SEC commitment

TJ Metcalf will play in the SEC, but not at the same school as his cousin, DK Metcalf. On Friday, TJ announced his commitment to Arkansas.

TJ Metcalf considered Ole Miss, where DK Metcalf averaged 18.3 yards per catch, but he decided to play for the Razorbacks. This week, TJ named Arkansas, Ole Miss, Jackson State and Penn State in his final 4.
Out of Pinson (Alabama) Valley, Metcalf is listed as measuring 6-1, 185 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Metcalf is rated 3-stars, the No. 24 Alabama recruit, No. 49 safety and No. 529 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2023.
