Treylon Burks steadily became one of the best wide receivers in all of college football over the past 3 years at Arkansas.

He improved each of his 3 years in Fayetteville, culminating in a 2021 season that saw Burks have 66 catches for 1,104 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also added 112 yards and a touchdown as a runner for good measure.

Now, Burks has become a first-round NFL Draft pick, going to the Tennessee Titans with the No. 18 overall pick on Thursday night in Las Vegas.

Burks came to Arkansas as a part of the Razorbacks’ 2019 class. He was a 4-star recruit and the No. 1 overall player from the state of Arkansas.

Now, he’ll take his talents to the pro ranks. Fortunately for him, he’s gone up against some of the best defenders in the country while playing in the SEC. And, he had plenty of success, as this play illustrates:

His speed has been questioned, but it looks just fine when you pop on his game film:

Burks will be counted on to be a Day 1 contributor at the NFL level. Based on his performance at Arkansas, that’s definitely within the realm of possibility. We’ll see how he looks this preseason in the buildup to his rookie year.
